Taking to his Instagram account, the Baahubali actor made the announcement of their engagement. He shared a sweet picture with his now fiance and excitedly revealed that she said yes to marry him. Stars like Anil Kapoor, Shruti Haasan, Kiara Advani and others congratulated him in the comments section. Yes, he was in a relationship with South actress Trisha Krishnan and in fact, a private picture of the two from a party had also gone viral on social media. They were good friends for a very long time, however, their relationship could not last for long. When he appeared on Koffee With Karan with SS Rajamouli and Prabhas, he spoke about his breakup. He was quoted saying, "She's been a friend of mine from a decade. We have been friends for very long and dated for a little time. But I guess, things didn't work out."
