Amid Coronavirus lockdown, everything had come to a halt- including shoots for films and television shows. Now, since the lockdown has gradually eased, and a few relaxations of the lockdown measures have been permitted, the shooting for films have slowly begun. A few days back, it was reported that Bell Bottom cast Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Lara Bhupati, Huma Qureshi among others, flew to Scotland to complete the shoot of the film. Now, looks like Akshay Kumar has finally resumed shooting, and the team is following all new norms.

Akshay Kumar took to his social media accounts to share a short video clip in which he can be seen with  a clapboard in his hand, However, giving a twist to the usual ‘Lights, camera, action,’ Akshay Kumar instead says, “Lights, camera, mask on and action.” He can be seen with a face mask on, and in his tweet he mentions that the team is following the new norms and they are filming for Bell Bottom. He further wrote how it’s a tough time, however, work has to continue.

“Lights, Camera, Mask On and Action Following all the new norms and filming on for #BellBottom! It’s a difficult time but work has to go on. Need your love and luck.” His tweet read. Take a look:


Meanwhile, Bollywood Hungama reported that Akshay Kumar and his team were put under 14-day quarantine by the government after they reached Scotland. “Everyone was quarantined at a hotel in and around Glasgow for safety purposes and with the period finally coming to an end now, a near 40-day start to finish shoot will now begin,” a source told the portal.
