Reportedly, Akshay Kumar to reunite with his Filhall co-star Nupur Sanon for his upcoming spy thriller, Bell Bottom and that she will be seen as his wife, more deets inside
Akshay Kumar is one extremely busy star. The actor has a huge line-up of films, all of the different genres. Bell Bottom is among one of them, a film which is based on the life on a spy. Only recently, Akki unveiled the film’s new release date and his first look. However, nothing has been revealed about his leading lady in this spy thriller. While there were rumours of Mrunal Thakur coming onboard, a report in Pinkvilla suggests that it is Kriti Sanon’s sister and Akki’s Filhall co-star Nupur Sanon instead.
A source close to the film’s development told the portal that Mrunal Thakur was never approached for the film and that Nupur Sanon has been already finalised. In fact, her look test, too, is done and that she will be seen playing Akshay Kumar’s wife, which is a strong character."While there have been talks about Mrunal Thakur being approached for Bell Bottom, the reports are mere rumours. She was never even approached for the role. Nupur Sanon has already been finalised to play the role which is said to be a significant one. Her look test is already done and with Fillhall being loved so much, this seems like an exciting time for her to foray into showbiz. Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar recently disclosed that Bell Bottom will be releasing on April 2, 2021, after his film Bachchan Pandey was shifted to January 22, 2021, Bell Bottom’s original release date. The film is going to be helmed by Ranjit Tiwari.
