Bhai Shahid Changed My Diapers: Ishaan Khatter Opens Up About The Actor Being A ‘Consistent Male Figure’ In His Life
Ishaan Khatter reveals details about his bond with Shahid Kapoor and how the actor plays an important role in his life
Bollywood actors Shahid Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter often take the internet by storm when they post pictures and videos together. Despite having an age-gap of 15 years, their sibling bond is very strong. The actors have never failed to heap praises on each other. In a recent interview, the young actor opened up about his bond with his elder step-brother and revealed how Shahid has helped him stay grounded.
During his interaction with Pinkvilla, not only did Ishaan reveal an adorable nickname he gave Shahid, but also how his bhai has been a consistent male figure in his life. Opening up about how Shahid has been like a father figure in his life, the Dhadak actor revealed that Shahid was his elder brother in many ways. Quoted by Bollywood Shaadis, Ishaan said, “I think he has felt very parental towards me also because he changed my diapers. He was nearly 15 years old when I was born and he didn't have an elder sibling. So he was that sibling for me. He is very much the quintessential elder brother in many ways. For the unversed, Shahid Kapoor was born to veteran actors Pankaj Kapoor and Neelima Azeem, who got divorced. While Pankaj went on to have a family with actress Supriya Pathak, Neelima married actor Rajesh Khatter who gave birth to their son Ishaan. Fans know Shahid as a lovable older brother, as he is often seen taking care of all his younger siblings.
