Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam is definitely one of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's most special films. Probably why the filmmaker is seeking inspiration from the Salman Khan- Aishwarya Rai starrer for Bajirao Mastani.

Sanjay has revisited the 1999 hit for the score of the Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra starrer. The filmmaker has rehashed the classical number, Albela Sajan Aayo Re for the period drama.
This time, the song has a more Maharashtrian bhajan feel to it and has been sung by multiple regional singers.
Interestingly, the poster and certain visuals of Salman's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo too borrowed from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (Salman relives his Aishwarya memories, October 13). And now this.
Funny coincidence since Bajirao Mastani's original cast was Salman and Aishwarya, isn't it?
