Back in February this year, the Andheri court had summoned Shilpa Shetty, her sister Shamita Shetty, and their mother Sunanda Shetty to appear in court for the non-payment of a loan. They were accused in a cheating case, by the owner of a vehicle agncy. According to reports, Shilpa’s late father had borrowed Rs. 21 lakh in 2015 from businessman Parhad Amra, the owner of a vehicle agency, and was supposed to pay it back in January 2017. Well as per his accusation, the actress' father died on October 11, 2016, without paying the loan back. In fact, his family members have also not returned his money.
Back then, ANI had tweeted the same, informing, “Andheri court has issued summon to actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra, her sister Shamita Shetty and mother Sunanda Shetty following a complaint by a businessman who has alleged non-repayment of Rs 21 lakhs loan by them; court orders the three to appear on February 28.
Now, in the latest development on this matter, the Andheri court has granted bail to Shilpa Shetty's mother Sunanda Shetty in a loan default and cheating case. The metropolitan magistrate court cancelled the bailable warrant that was issued against Sunanda Shetty last month. The warrant was issued against Sunanda for not appearing before the court. On Tuesday, she attended the hearing and requested to cancel the warrant. The court reportedly decreed the same.
