Aashiqui fame and Bigg Boss 1 winner, actor Rahul Roy suffered a brain stroke on November 30. He was shooting in Kargil for a film titled LAC- Live The Battle when the incident occurred. The actor was immediately moved to Srinagar and flown to Mumbai for treatment. Roy was admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati hospital. It was recently that a close family member of Rahul Roy revealed that the actor is out of danger. Another health update of the actor informs that he is conscious now. Director Nitin Kumar Gupta, who is in Kargil right now updated about Rahul Roy’s health.

Speaking with Mumbai Mirror, Rahul Roy’s film director Nitin Kumar Gupta turned down rumours of the actor being unconscious and revealed that as per doctors, the actor may require a stent to prevent future attacks and asked if anyone wants to help. He said, “I’ve been in constant touch with his medical staff and his twin Rohit. The latter, who lives in Canada, told me on Thursday morning that Rahul’s physiotherapy and speech therapy is going well. Rohit spoke to Rahul for half a minute and informed that Rahul is conscious and speaking a few sentences. Thanks to everyone’s prayers, he is doing better every day.”

Talking about further treatments that the actor will need and the financial aspect to it, Nitin shared, “I’ve had discussions with his doctors who have said a stent may be required in the middle cerebral artery to prevent cerebrovascular events in the future. It’s a preventive measure and may prove expensive. Once I return, I will speak with the doctors again regarding costs.” The director mentioned that he can handle the expenses for now, but requested that if anyone wants to help, it will be easier for him. He said, “I can handle the expenses for now, but if anyone wants to help in any way it will just make it easier for me to help him. I am sure once Rahul recovers, they will be compensated.”

Meanwhile, recently, a close family member of Rahul Roy revealed he was moved out of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The actor’s brother-in-law mentioned that the doctors have begun speech therapy.
