Bigg Boss 15: Pratik Sehajpal Reacts To Trolls Attacking Neha Bhasin For Their Bond; 'I Was Equally Involved In The Friendship'
Pratik Sehajpal says he felt bad for Neha Bhasin as she was attacked by the trolls.
Pratik Sehajpal, who was a part of Karan Johar's Bigg Boss OTT, made headlines for his closeness with Neha Bhasin during the show. After coming out of the show, Neha, who is married to Sameeruddin, was brutally trolled for her bond with him. A few weeks ago, addressing the trolls in her Instagram post, she said that a part of her wanted to die after reading all the negative comments about her husband and family members. She also mentioned that she felt the darkness again.
And now, in a recent interview with Times of India, Pratik Sehajpal said that he felt it was unfair to target the singer alone, when he was equally involved in the friendship.
He shared, "My sister is not from the industry and she doesn't understand such things. She started getting so many messages from people about Neha and my friendship and they were saying so many things. She got scared, I felt. She came and gave me that message. After I came out and we spoke she understood that our friendship was very pure but there were many who did not find it appropriate according to the society norms." He added, "I spoke to her and made her understand how it feels when the entire house is against you and one person your friend supports you." He further stated that he appreciates the singer for supporting and standing up for him. "I am also not saying that people who judged us were wrong, they were watching us from outside, but we were staying there and we know what the drill is," he added.
"I also felt that Neha was not only one involved in that friendship, I was equally involved and it was unfair that she was trolled for it. If someone had to judge, people had to troll both of us and not only her. I feel it was unfair," he said.
Currently, Pratik is a part of Salman Khan hosted reality show 'Bigg Boss 15'. He has been making headlines because of his fights with Jay Bhanushali and Umar Riaz.
