Bigg Boss 19: Amaal Mallik Faces Backlash For Spitting In Kitchen Sink, Netizens Slam Singer For Unhygienic Behaviour

A video of singer-composer Amaal Mallik has gone viral, sparking heavy criticism, after he was seen spitting into the kitchen sink inside the Bigg Boss 19 house. In the footage, he drinks water straight from a hose used for filling bottles—without cleaning it first—and then proceeds to spit into the sink. Many viewers and social media users have slammed the act as unhygienic and lacking basic manners.

Netizens remarked that since the kitchen is a shared space, all contestants should respect cleanliness. One user mocked, “Drink water like Amaal… direct from the hose and don’t even clean it after… spread germs yay!!! Why can’t he take water in his bottle or glasss… ewwww and damn… did he also spit in the sink.” Another exclaimed, “Big celebrity… but zero class. Sp!tting everywhere is not swag, it’s unhygienic #AmaalMallik go learn some manners first.” 

Others pointed out that this wasn’t an isolated incident. A viewer wrote, “This Amaal is so unhygienic. A few weeks ago, he put a used spoon straight into the rice pot and today he rinsed his mouth and spat in the sink. Yuck.” 

Additionally, tensions inside Bigg Boss 19 had already flared. Amaal recently clashed with co-contestant Abhishek Bajaj following a confrontation with Kunickaa Sadanand during a captaincy task. The argument escalated into a physical altercation, prompting other housemates to step in and stop the fight
