The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) are constantly striving hard to crackdown the ongoing drug nexus in Bollywood. The investigation started with the connection in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, but now the NCB is briefly looking into the matter after some Bollywood names like Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh entered the picture. Amidst all this, the latest input by Republic suggests that apart from these big names mentioned above, bigger and more influential names from Bollywood are likely to come into view in NCB's phase 3 probe. The report claimed that some bigger names will crop out and will be summoned by NCB. Not just that, names of those associated with the media are also likely to emerge in this probe.
As per Republic, the drug probe is said to last for a month now. Nevertheless, Republic has also reported that NCB's chief Rakesh Asthana who flew down to Mumbai from Delhi on Sunday conducted a late-night meeting with the officials and gave them six months to file a charge sheet.
Meanwhile, Phase 1 was the arrest of Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty and others due to their alleged involvement in the drug cartel.
