Bihar Court Orders Fir Against Big B, Madhuri And Preity

A Bihar court has directed officials to file an FIR against Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Preity Zinta, who have been the brand ambassadors of Maggi over the years. An FIR will also be filed against the officials of Maggi noodles maker Nestle.

The court has also directed the police to go for arrest if required in the course of investigation.

The complainant claimed that he purchased Maggi from a shop at Lenin Chowk of Muzaffarpur on May 30 and was taken ill after he ate it. This prompted him to file a case against Nestle, the maker of the noodles and the film stars who are the product’s brand ambassadors.

The 72-year-old star stated that when he was the brand ambassador of Nestle, he always checked with the company about the products they make. He also said that he had put a clause in his contract where it is Nestles responsibility to defend him in legal tangles.

For those whove come in late, Madhuri Dixit Nene had previously received a legal notice for the same.

The actress explained her stand on the controversy on Twitter.
