In Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, the Mumbai Police is summoning many from the industry to record their statements. Reportedly, after Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Aditya Chorpa, Rhea Chakraborty, and others, Kangana Ranaut too has been called in by the police to record her statement for further investigation. In an interview with Republic TV, Kangana stated that she has been called by the Mumbai Police, however, she is in Manali currently. Now, BJP MP Subramanian Swamy has shared that the actress has contacted him for legal help.

taking to his Twitter handle, Subramanian Swamy wrote, "Kangana Ranaut's office has contacted Ishkaran. Ishkaran and I will meet soon to discuss how to assist her with her legal rights if and when the meeting with the Mumbai Police takes place. I am told she is among top three in Hindi cinema stardom. But on guts she gets top marks." Ishkaran is the lawyer suggested by Subramanian Swamy to Kangana Ranaut.

This comes after he offered legal help to Kangana in his interview with Republic TV. Stating that a person who is summoned by the police for investigation is entitled to have a lawyer, Subramanian Swamy was quoted saying, "I can offer legal assistance to her because she is bold and courageous and she has given an interview to your channel too. She's placed her record with great clarity. She needs to be legally protected and to make sure no unfairness is meted out to her, I think she should have a lawyer by her side." He praised Kangana for the bold interview she gave over Sushant Singh Rajput's death calling out the bigwigs.
