Blackbuck Poaching Case: Salman Khan Gives The Court Summon A Miss; Next Hearing To Happen In December

On Friday, a hearing for Salman Khan's 1998 Blackbuck Poaching Case was slated to happen; however, the actor gave it a miss. The next date of hearing has to take place on December 19, as decided by the Jodhpur District and Sessions Court.

Blackbuck Poaching Case: Salman Khan Gives The Court Summon A Miss; Next Hearing To Happen In December
Salman Khan who was last convicted in the Blackbuck Poaching Case and was sentenced with five-year imprisonment in 2018 is currently out on bail. The megastar been asked to mark his appearance in the Jodhpur court today. In the last hearing, it was ruled out that if Salman Khan does not show up in court before or on September 27, his bail may be cancelled. The District and Sessions Court in Jodhpur is hearing his appeal against a sessions court verdict that granted him five-year imprisonment. 

Now, as per ANI, the latest update is that Salman Khan skipped the court summon and did not appear before the court today and that the next date of hearing has been fixed for December. ANI’s Tweet reads, “1998 Blackbuck poaching case: Jodhpur District and Sessions Court fixes 19th December as the next date of hearing in the case; Salman Khan did not appear before the court today.”


The Blackbuck Poaching Case is going on for two decades and recently it was in the news because someone sent Salman Khan a death threat over the same. A Facebook post targeting Salman surfaced and the investigation is on. In the post, a user had written, “Salman, think, you can save yourself from Indian law, however, Vishnoi Samaj and Sopu Party have announced death sentence for you. You are an accused in Sopu’s court. Salaam sahid da nu; Respect girls; Save animals; Avoid drugs & help poors; Sukha kahlon Garry.”
