Blame Game On Kabir Singh Once Again; Misha Kapoor Failed To Recognise Shahid Kapoor And Cried To Get Away From Him

Shahid Kapoor has been basking in the success of his film Kabir Singh since its release. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga film is a remake of the Telugu hit Arjun Reddy. While the film received a lot of flak from the audience and the critics for Shahid’s character of Kabir Singh, the character was not well accepted at home as well. Recently on Neha Dhupia’s talk show No Filter Neha, the actor shared how his daughter Misha Kapoor failed to recognize her father when he returned from the shoot and cried to get away from him.
In film Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor played the role of an abusive, alcoholic, and madly in love doctor and received a lot of flak for the role he played. While Kabir Singh’s character is considered as one of the actor’s best performances as an artist by far, apart from critics and viewers, Shahid faced a lot of trouble at home as well for his scary bearded look. On Neha Dhupia’s talk show No Filter Neha, Shahid Kapoor revealed how his Kabir Singh look didn’t go well with daughter Misha Kapoor. The actor shared that she was a one and a half-year-old at that time when she was shooting for Kabir Singh. Shahid went on to share that as he was dying to hold her and meet her and run around the house with her and talk to her, Misha was busy walking around the garden with the maid. Kapoor added that as his wife Mira was off to meet some relatives and he had reached earlier, he wished to take little Misha in his arms, and during that time she came to him and started crying. He mentioned that his entire family was at the house of his wife’s parents and that after wrapping up with work he had arrived a few days after Mira and Misha.
The actor then shared how when he was talking to Misha she continuously stared at his mouth and looked at his face. Shahid said how his look did not make sense to little Misha as she recognized his voice but not his face due to his beard.
Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput were blessed with Misha Kapoor in August 2016 and son Zain Kapoor in September 2018. The couple recently celebrated the birthday of their kids Misha and Zain and organized a lavish party for B-Town kids.
