BMC Demolishes Kangana Ranaut's Office: Former Maha CM Devendra Fadnavis Reacts, Asks The Government To Spend Energy On Controlling Coronavirus
Kangana Ranaut is ruling the headlines currently because of her war with the Maharashtra Government. After attacks and counter-attacks made between the actress and Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut, her office in Mumbai was termed to be illegal and part of it was demolished by BMC officials. On social media, she expressed her anger and called it #DeathofDemocracy. Now, the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis has shared his views on the same.

During a press conference, he stated that Maharashtra Government is fighting Kangana Ranaut, instead of focusing on the spread of Coronavirus in the state. "Maharashtra government thinks the state is not fighting coronavirus... rather actor Kangana (Ranaut). Today, the highest number of coronavirus cases are in Maharashtra. Everyday, a surge between 23,000-25,000 cases is being recorded. Forty per cent of Covid-linked deaths in the country are being recorded from Maharashtra," he was quoted saying as reported by NDTV.

He further said, "But Maharashtra government doesn't want to fight it... they are fighting Kangana. I want to tell them... as much energy they are wasting on fighting the actor, even if they spend half of it to control the outbreak, the state can save many lives. They should get their priorities right." He also stated that the Government is not demolishing Dawood's home but is behind an actor.

The Bombay High Court has currently ordered a stay on the demolition work at Kangana's office by BMC till September 22. The actress recently posted on Twitter that she would work out of her ravaged office as she does not have money to renovate it.
