Bollywood Celebrates Raksha Bandhan: Sara Ali Khan And Ranveer Singh Add The Fun And Zing To The Festival
As the Indians worldwide celebrated Raksha Bandhan today, Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan added their own zing and fun to their respective celebrations
Raksha Bandhan is a festival of celebrating the bond that exists between brothers and sisters. The meaning and significance of the day has evolved over the years but its essence remains the same. Festivals, in general, anyway spell fun for the B-Town, and stars like Sara Ali Khan and Ranveer Singh who are known for their quirks add the necessary tadka to the festivities.
First, let's talk about the energiser bunny of the Hindi film industry - Ranveer Singh. It was a double celebration for the actor, as his mother, Mrs Anju Bhavnani, turned a year older on August 22 - Raksha Bandhan this year.
As the actor was leaving with his wife, Deepika Padukone and his mother, the paparazzi caught and joined him in wishing his mother. And being the sport that he is, Ranveer also sang with full josh, making his mother blush while his lady love smiled from ear to ear.
And it seems like the Ranveer Singh effect rubbed off on Sara too. The actress, who became a big sister for the third time this year to brother Jeh, seemed to be in a really good mood as she travelled by a car with brother Ibrahim Ali Khan. Sara gave her brother and her fans a glimpse of her sense of humour and quirkiness, with two attempts at her ‘Knock-Knock’ jokes. But when Ibrahim seemed unimpressed by that, she asked for the help of her devoted fans, requesting them to DM her. But the message in the DM was pre-decided - the fans should say they liked her video so as to convince Ibrahim.
Now, that’s what we call ‘sangat ka asar’ as both Ranveer and Sara, even though separately, seem to be vibing at the same frequency. It’s time for all of us to rush to Sara’s DMs and give her the validation she needs to convince Ibrahim.
