Salman Khan has been convicted in the 2002 hit-and-run case. The Court found him guilty on all charges, including driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without a license and culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
While the sentencing was awaited, Bollywood instantly took to Twitter to express solidarity.
Salman’s find Sonakshi Sinha was one of the first to lend her support to the star. 
Varun Dhawan, Riteish Deshmukh, Bipasha, Arjun Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra, Farah Khan and Alia Bhatt too tweeted during the day.
