Bollywood's Race For India's Official Entry To Oscars Begins
It's that time of the year again, when almost every Bollywood producer is vying to send his/her film to compete in the Best Foreign Language Film category at the Academy Awards. And, like every year, the list of aspirants is rather long.

Salman Khan, who won the hearts of audiences with Bajrangi Bhaijaan, is hoping to floor the Oscar jury as well. That is, if his blockbuster gets selected by the FFI-appointed committee. As many of you may already know, it's a committee appointed by the Film Federation of India that selects India's official entry to the Oscars.

We hear Anushka Sharma, who turned producer with NH10, has pinned high hopes on her film. Also vying for the honour are terrorist drama Baby and 'motion' picture Piku, a heartwarming father-daughter tale.

Critically acclaimed films like Haider and Masaan too are in the race and so is Lateef starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

The final decision is yet to be made, but in the meantime, Bollywood is dreaming big!
