Film producer Boney Kapoor, along with his two daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor unveiled late Sridevi’s wax statue in Madame Tussauds, Singapore today. The wax statue of the late legendary actress of Bollywood, Sridevi has joined a host of other celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Anushka Sharma, and others at Madame Tussauds, Singapore. On the birth anniversary of Sridevi, the museum announced her wax statue in her honor and it was unveiled today. On Sunday evening, Boney Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor were snapped as they jetted off to Singapore and Janhvi Kapoor headed off on Monday morning for the unveiling of her late mother’s wax statue.
Now, videos and photos from the same have surfaced on the Internet as the trio Boney Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor unveil Sridevi’s wax statue in Madame Tussauds today. The wax statue is a very detailed and exact replica of Sridevi’s look from Mr India song Hawa Hawai. The statue shows Sridevi donned in a golden outfit, the one she wore for the iconic song. Boney Kapoor had earlier given his fans a partial glimpse of the wax statue on his social media. Also, to pay a tribute to the legendary actress Sridevi, Madame Tussauds gathered messages from fans all over the world and pinned it to the tribute wall during the launch.
On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor will next be seen as IAS Gunjan Saxena in the upcoming biopic titled Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. She also has an interesting line up of films such as Dostana 2, RoohiAfza and Karan Johar’s multistarrer Takht.
