With 2021 many stars resumed the shoots of their much-delayed film as well as kick-started the new one they had signed. Joining the league of actors getting back to work is filmmaker Boney Kapoor, but this time in the capacity of an actor. The senior filmmaker was clicked at Mumbai airport today leaving for Delhi to shoot for Luv Ranjan’s film, he was accompanied by his younger daughter Khushi Kapoor. Boney was seen in kurta and pjyama with Nehru jacket all in one shade, wearing tan shoes and black pair of sunnies.
Meanwhile, Khushi looked extremely gorgeous in beige separates, having khaki loose pants paired with halter neck white cropped top and loose jacket like shirt. In conversation with Mid-Day, the senior filmmaker confirmed that he is playing on-screen father to actor Ranbir Kapoor. Boney also shared that the director connected with his son Arjun Kapoor who persuaded him to give a nod to this project. He also shared that while the crew will be shooting in Delhi, Boney will be able to travel between Mumbai and Delhi in order to take care of his production ventures as well.
He was quoted saying, “Luv insisted I do the role. He reached out to Arjun, who persuaded me for it. While the team will be shooting at a stretch in Delhi, they have given me the liberty to fly down to Mumbai and attend to my productions.”
