In a candid interview with News18 Showsha, patriarch Boney Kapoor revealed his hands-off approach to his children's dating lives, emphasizing that they are free to make their own choices. He trusts their judgment and believes in allowing them the space to grow and learn from their experiences. While he may not always approve of their relationships, he respects their autonomy and encourages them to handle matters independently.
Speaking on how he never interfered in kids' dating life, Boney said, "It’s their personal life. I can talk to them just once or twice and share my opinion. But the thing is that children, today, mature much faster as compared to our generation. You can’t push them into toeing the line or thinking in the way you do." He further adds, "They’ve their own minds. The world has shrunk today, which wasn’t the case in our times. We took our own time to understand how the world functions. It’s easier for them to form their own opinions."
Boney Kapoor's own journey, from his divorce from Mona Shourie Kapoor to his marriage with Sridevi Kapoor, has had its share of challenges.
