A few months ago, it was reported that Sridevi will start work on not one but two films - one, a fantasy set in Chennai by Shebu and Selvaraj that rolled in September, and the other, a woman-oriented drama to be anchored by a renowned South Indian ad filmmaker, Ravi Udaywar. The latter was to be shot in Delhi last month, but is yet to go on floors.
We now hear that Boney Kapoor is producing another woman-oriented film for Sridevi, which will roll mid of next year. There were rumours that Boney will launch his daughter Jhanvi with this film too. Shooing off the rumour Boney clarified that he is not doing anything like that for now.
Talking about the film, Boney says, "I am producing a film in which my wife Sridevi will play the lead, but it's not true that my daughter Jhanvi will be a part of it. She's currently being groomed in fashion by Manish Malhotra as she's more inclined in that space. I won't comment on the subject of Sri's film, but it will be an interesting one and will roll next year for sure."
