Boney Kapoor Tweets, ‘How Time Flies’ As His Late Wife Sridevi’s Movie Mom Clocks 3 Years
July 7, 2017, saw the release of the late superstar Sridevi’s last film of her career, Mom, hitting the silver screen. Though we later saw the actress in Zero that was just a 1-minute appearance. Directed by Ravi Udyawar and co-produced by the late actress’ husband Boney Kapoor, it clocked 3 years of its release in 2020. On this note, Boney tweeted remembering his wife and also appreciating her co-stars Akshaye Khanna,  Nawazuddin Siddiqui, director Ravi Udyawar and rest of the crew who put in their efforts to make this film happen.

Mom which saw Sridevi in the titular role was also a recipient of the National Award for the same in the year 2018. The late actress had posthumously won the best actress award at the 65th National Film Awards which were announced in April 2018. Unfortunately, by then the actress had breathed her last leaving for heavenly abode on February 24, 2018, due to accidental drowning in UAE, where she was back from attending a family wedding.  Boney tweeting about the film clocking 3 years, also shared posters of the movie. 

His tweet read, “How time flies.....it’s 3 years since the release of Mom. Will always be remembered for the National award-winning performance of @SrideviBKapoor. And the entire cast and teams stellar performance and hard work #AkshayKhanna@Nawazuddin_S @Iamsajalali@adnanactor@raviudyawar”
