No Ayushmann in Badhaai Ho 2 but Rao! Even the director has been changed!! That's the latest whisper
As things stand today, Badhaai 2 will soon go on floors but without Ayushmann Khurrana. Yes, it's hard to believe but I hear that's the decision that Junglee Pictures (producer) has almost taken. And, Rajkummar Rao has been asked to jump in.
Obviously Ayushmann must be a tad sad but that's life! Another bit of news on this front is that the director has also been changed. Amit Sharma who directed Badhaai Ho, which ran away to glory, will not wield the megaphone for this one. However, the writer Akshat has been retained.
Rao and Khurana are very close friends and I saw them dancing wildly together in a party, few days back to the tune of Bala, Bala, Bala. If this change happens, I hope this dosti sustains. Well, I think it will 'coz both are sensible and matured individuals.
Badhaai Ho was the story of Nakul, a 25-year-old man, who is shocked to discover that his 45-year mother is pregnant. His struggle to come to terms with the news puts his relationship with his girlfriend, Renee, in jeopardy.
