As per CNN News18, Rhea Chakraborty’s brother, Showik and Sushant Singh Rajput’s house manager Samuel Mirandra have been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau
Here’s a shocking update in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. The Narcotics Control Bureau has arrested actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty’s brother, Showik Chakraborty in connection with the drug-angle. Showik has been detained by the NCB for not only being a consumer but also a supplier. Not only Showik, even SSR’s house manager Samuel Mirandra too has been detained by the NCB. The massive move came in after Showik allegedly confessed that he had allegedly procured drugs on the instructions of his sister - actor Rhea Chakraborty.
According to a report in CNN News18, after being taken into custody, Showik is likely to be produced in Court tomorrow. This morning, NCB raided Rhea and Samuel’s houses in Mumbai and both were being grilled by the NCB since morning. The Narcotics agency got involved after Rhea’s WhatsApp chats with a dealer suggested drug-angles were accessed by the ED. Recently, it was reported that Showik’s new set of WhatsApp chats accessed by Times Now suggested Rhea’s brother not only used to buy but also sell the drugs.
Apart from being a buyer, Showik has also been accused of being a supplier. After seeing NCB’s big move, Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta had then taken to Twitter to hail the NCB step. As per reports, three cops, four NCB officials were captured entering Samuel Miranda's residence and NCB raids continued for over two hours. Shweta had tweeted, “Good going NCB... Thank You God. #GreatStartNCB.”
