BUZZ: Exit Of Shahid Kapoor And Entry Of Anil Kapoor Changes Title Of Motwane's AK Vs SK To AK Vs AK- EXCLUSIVE
There were reports that Anil Kapoor has stepped into Shahid Kapoor's shoes in the Vikram Aditya Motwane directorial, which also stars Anurag Kashyap. SpotboyE.com has it that the deal has been almost finalised, due to which the title has also been changed
It’s been almost 3 years that we have been hearing reports about Vikramaditya Motwane’s film titled AK Vs SK which had Anurag Kashyap and Shahid Kapoor play the leads. The title of the film was formed after the initials Kashyap and Kapoor. While Sasha was supposed to play a hero, Kashyap was a menacing director cum villain in the film.
However, soon reports stated that the project got shelved and even Shahid confirmed the same to a section of media. Then in 2017, speculations suggested that the project is being revived, but nothing materialised thereafter.
Now, after all these years, there were vague reports of Anil Kapoor stepping into Shahid's shoes. SpotboyE.com dug deeper to find out that indeed Anil has been finalised for the project and the paper work is in progress. If all goes well, Anil will be in the Motwane directorial.
Of course, now with Anil Kapoor stepping in, the title had to be reworked due to which the makers had a meeting recently and now the new title of the film is- AK Vs AK, after Anil Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap.

Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor has been basking in the success of his last film Kabir Singh that did wonders at the box-office. Next, he will be seen in Jersey, which is a Hindi remake of a Telugu film by the same name. Shahid will play a cricketer in his mid-thirties in the film. He will be seen romancing Super 30 actress Mrunal Thakur.
Also his father, the talented actor Pankaj Kapur has joined the star-cast. Presented by Allu Aravind, produced by Aman Gill and Dil Raju and it is slated to release on August 28, 2020.
