Cancer Survivor Nafisa Ali Shares Picture Of The Patches She Got On Her Skin During Chemo; Says 'You Win Some, You Lose Some'
Actress Nafisa Ali was detected with Stage 3 cancer 2 years back and she overcame it putting up a brave fight. Nafisa Ali took to her social media to share a picture of the patches she got on her skin during chemotherapy and talks about how you win some things in life and you lose some.
Actress Nafisa Ali is known for her films, Major Saab, Bewafaa, Guzaarish, and many others. Back in 2018, the actress took to her social media to reveal the heartbreaking news of being detected with Stage 3 Cancer. While the country is in self-quarantine right now, ever since the lockdown was announced, actress Nafisa Ali has been stuck up in Goa. As the cancer survivor was detected with stage 3 cancer 2 years back, Nafisa Ali took to her social media to share a picture of the patches she got on her skin during chemotherapy and talk about life’s challenges.
On Instagram, Nafisa Ali shared a picture from the Aswem Beach area in Goa. As the actress shared her selfie, the actress opened up about her journey by far after being detected with cancer. Sharing the post, Nafisa Ali penned down a long caption talking about the challenges life throws at us and lots more. In her post, talking about her picture, she mentioned how she started noticing white patches on her neck area since her chemotherapy.
Nafisa Ali then went on to share that as she is now being by the sea and getting a tan, she can tell how the patches are even on her face too. Speaking of the hardships in life further, the actress said, “Such is life ... you win some and loose some.” In the post later, Nafisa Ali shared that she had been diagnosed with Leucoderma, a type of cancer. Sharing some knowledge about it further, the actress revealed how it’s quite a similar condition to “Vitiligo” – leucoderma is a skin disorder in which patches of skin tend to lose their natural color.
