CBI For Sushant Singh Rajput: Father's Lawyer Takes A Jibe At Rhea Chakraborty; Says, 'She Keeps Proving All The Allegations Against Her Are True'
After Supreme Court gave the green signal to CBI for taking over Sushant Singh Rajput's case, the actor's father's lawyer takes a sly dig at Rhea Chakraborty by saying, 'she's doing a face-saving'
Rhea Chakraborty had earlier filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking transfer of the FIR from Patna to Mumbai. After which, CBI has now been ordered to take control of Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide case by the Apex Court on Wednesday. However, recently, the Dil Bechara actor's father KK Singh's lawyer Vikas Singh took a jibe at Rhea by saying that she has shown her double face and post the SC's verdict, 'she's doing face-saving.'
KK Singh's lawyer, Vikas Singh was quoted saying to Zoom TV, "Rhea Chakraborty has shown her double face at every given point in this case. Her lawyer not even once mentioned in the entire hearing that he would want this case transferred to CBI. He argued till the end that we want Mumbai Police only to investigate the case but now that she's lost, she's doing face-saving. She just keeps proving that all the allegations against her are true."
On the other hand, Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer, senior advocate Satish Manshinde had shared an official statement recently where the actress mentioned that she will appear before the CBI for the necessary probe as it read, “Since the Court has transferred the investigation to CBI invoking its powers under Article 142 of the Constitution of India, she will appear and face the investigation by the CBI as she has done earlier with the Mumbai Police and the Enforcement Directorate.” Also mentioning Rhea’s stand, the statement further read, “Rhea maintains that the truth will remain the same whichever agency investigates the case.”

Meanwhile, CBI has approached Mumbai Police and has started with the investigation. After SC's decision was out, Rajput's sister Shweta Singh Kirti shared a post on Instagram which said, "Congratulations to our extended family for this victory, this is the first step in the direction of a fair investigation nonetheless a major one...we need to stay united and fight relentlessly hereafter...
