CBI For Sushant Singh Rajput: Siddharth Pithani Reaches CBI Guesthouse For Questioning; Forensic Experts Too Meet The Investigating Team- REPORTS
According to the latest reports, Sushant Singh Rajput's friend and flatmate Siddharth Pithani, along with house staff, reached the guesthouse for questioning where CBI team is staying
Sushant Singh Rajput died on June 14 and since then, his family and friends demanded a non-partial inquiry and justice for the late actor. Later, on August 19, Supreme Court officially handed over the case to CBI and with that, the team has now picked up the pace as reportedly the CBI team will be divided into two teams. Amidst all this, the latest development in this mysterious death case states that Sushant's friend and flatmate Siddharth Pithani who was summoned by the officials, has reached the guesthouse where the CBI team is staying for questioning, as reported by India TV. The portal also mentioned that Sushant's domestic staff named Dipesh will also be present there for questioning as they are touted to be the prime witnesses in this case. Further, it is also reported that Forensics will also meet the CBI for more details.
Some reports claimed that Siddharth was present in the house on the day when Sushant ended his life. He was the one who allegedly brought the actor's mortal remains down on the bed after he found him hanging. Earlier, in an interview, SSR's family lawyer Vikas Singh revealed that his family is suspecting murder with flatmate Siddharth Pithani changing his statements. So far, CBI has interrogated the actor's cook Neeraj, who was a part of Sushant’s staff team, his house manager Samuel Miranda. There are reports stating they are also going to question Sushant's friend Sandip Ssingh, Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty.
As CBI is extensively working on the case, on the other hand, Rajput's sister Shweta Singh Kirti called for global Gayatri Mantra Jaap while urging everyone to participate in this dharmic cause. The prayers will be through registration unlike trending the campaign on social media as it was before. They will be chanting Gayatri Mantra Jaap along with his fans from across globe on 22 August 2020, which is, today.
