Chaos In Bengaluru: Mithun Chakraborty's Son Namashi's Leading Lady Amrin Ka Makeup Kaun Karega?
All's not well on the sets of Rajkumar Santoshi's BadBoy. The film which will launch Amrin and Namashi (Mithunda's son) is having its fair share of hiccups on Amrin's makeup issues
Mithun Chakraborty’s second son Namashi and his leading lady Amrin have reached Bengaluru and started shooting for their maiden venture, Rajkumar Santoshi’s upcoming quirky young romantic comedy titled BadBoy. “Rajkumar had several rounds of auditions before deciding on them and put both of them through some acting workshops,” producer Sajid Qureshi had said in a statement. So far so good, but the last six days which the unit has been in Bengaluru have not been smooth sailing.
Reason- Amrin's makeup. The makeup artiste for this girl, who is Qureshi's daughter, has been changed as many as 3 times in 6 days. This has led to a chaos of sorts. Maybe Qureshi wants it all too good for Amrin or he's confused. Rumour has it that the confusion (if the second theory is the reason) stems from the film's costume designer Niharika Bhasin Khan's suggestions to Qureshi.
Originally Subhash Singh was supposed to do the makeup if Amrin and Namashi both. But the constant feedback that Qureshi has been getting on how Amrin can still look better has resulted in frequent changes of the make-up artiste on job. Last heard, Subhash has been told to handle only Namashi's makeup.
We called up Wacky Khan, Co-Producer On BadBoy to know why they haven't been able to settle down on Amrin's makeup issues. Wacky said that we should rather speak to the production team and he would send us their numbers. 5 minutes later, however Wacky himself called up to say that 'there were no problems on the set' (expected answer) and added, "Niharika Khan had given us a makeup artiste who has to leave for London for a week. She will soon be sending her replacement."
Qureshi has revealed the film will be on the lines of Shahid Kapoor-Ileana D’cruz’s Phata Poster Nikhla Hero and Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif's Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani The film will be shot in Bengaluru and Mumbai over the next 60 days. Buzz is, a few songs might be shot abroad.
