Chhapaak: Deepika Padukone Reveals Ranveer Singh Used To Act Like Her Bodyguard During Ram-Leela Promotions
While talking to a leading portal during Chhapaak promotions, Deepika Padukone revealed an incident when Deepika and Ranveer Singh went for the promotions of their film Ram-Leela and her hubby doubled up as her bodyguard.
Don’t know if you guys have ever noticed but Ranveer Singh have always become a good bodyguard to Deepika Padukone even before marriage. If you could recollect, during Bajirao Mastani promotions, Ranveer protected her and guarded her against the crowd which was going berserk after seeing them at the venue. The chivalry man Ranveer that he is, guarded Deepika throughout. Well, we saw a similar thing during their wedding days, when the couple landed in the country as a newlywed couple, the paparazzi and the fans lost their mind, that time also we saw Ranveer shielding the new bride Deepika and turned into a bodyguard protecting Deepika as the crowd goes over-board as the large crowd of fans try and click photos and make videos of the newlyweds.
Well, Ranveer had this habit before they even started dating each other and this was recently revealed by his wife Deepika. She recalled an incident when Deepika and Ranveer Singh went for the promotions of their film that is still remembered by the ’83 actor. While talking to Mumbai Mirror, she was quoted saying, "After watching the Chhapaak trailer, he recalled the time we were promoting Ram-Leela in Jaipur and there was a person, dressed as srk, who jumped out at me. DeepVeer will be starring in Kabir Khan’s ’83 for the first time after marriage. The film has already raised the anticipation level of the fans as the couple is celebrated as one of the most-loved couples in Bollywood. Talking about the film, she was quoted saying, “It is our lightest film together yet. On set, you are not husband and wife or girlfriend and boyfriend, you are actors. This film was so different, nothing that after period films. It will be good to be just a boy and girl in a young, fresh film.”
