Chhatriwali FIRST LOOK OUT: Rakul Preet Singh Turns Condom Tester For Ronnie Screwvala's Family Entertainer
Rakul Preet Singh unveiled the first look of Ronnie Screwvala's Chhatriwali
On Saturday, Rakul Preet Singh took to social media and announced her next film 'Chhatriwali'. The actress will be seen in a never seen before and unique avatar in the film. Produced by RVSP's Ronnie Screwvala and directed by Tejas Prabhas Vijay Deoskar, Chhatriwali is touted to be a social family entertainer. Rakul will be essaying the role of a condom tester.
Sharing the first look, Rakul wrote in the caption, "Bin mausam barsaat kabhi bhi ho sakti hai... Apni chhatri taiyaar rakhiye. Presenting the first look of #Chhatriwali."
The film will focus on a female unemployed chemistry graduate in small town Karnal who becomes a condom tester, a secret she must hide from everyone around her. Rakul is excited to be a part of the film. Sharing her excitement, she said, "It's quite an interesting and hatke subject and I am very thrilled about starting the journey of my character. It's important to highlight some issues in a light-hearted way and that has got me pretty excited." Directed Tejas Deoskar shared, "Our film is a social family entertainer, which aims at de-stigmatising the use of condoms and we are truly excited that the film has gone on floors. Rakul brings freshness to every role that she portrays and with a sensitive, thought provoking subject like this, the audience will certainly enjoy a roller-coaster ride of comedy."
