Chhichhore Release Postponed: Sushant Singh Rajput-Shraddha Kapoor Starrer Pushed By A Week To Avoid Clash With Prabhas' Saaho
Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Chhichhore was earlier reported to be pushed ahead owing to the rescheduling of Saaho, that features Sharddha Kapoor and Prabhas in the lead roles. Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming directorial, Chhichhore, which was earlier slated to release on August 30, will now release on September 6, 2019. By pushing it a week ahead, Chhichhore has avoided clashing with Saaho.

There has been a lot of shuffling in release dates of recent movies.  Shraddha Kapoor and Prabhas’ big-budget film Saaho was pushed ahead to August 30 so as to avoid a clash with Akshay Kumar's Mission Mangal and John Abraham's Batla House. This further alarmed the makers of Chhichhore to make a shift, this Nitesh Tiwari directorial which was set to release on August 30, will now release on September 6 which means it will clash with Aanand L Rai’s Laal Kaptaan. The trailer of Chhichhore is scheduled to release on August 4, i.e, on friendship day. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to announce the trailer release date.

Chhichhore will see the lead actors in a double role. Apart from Shraddha Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput, the film also stars Prateik Babbar, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Tushar Pandey, Saharsh Shukla, and Naveen Polishetty. A couple weeks ago, Shraddha Kapoor had penned an emotional after after the wrap up of shoot. She shared pictures from the wrap- up party on her Instagram and called it the experience of a lifetime. The film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and presented by Fox Studios.
