Nitesh Tiwari helmed Chhichhore, released on September 6, 2019, and the comedy drama starred late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Sharma, among others. Today as the film marks one year of its release, filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari and actress Shraddha Kapoor remembered Sushant with a heavy heart. Nitesh dropped a video, which was a compilation of the film’s songs, scenes, BTS videos and pictures, on his Twitter account, and mentioned missing the actor on this day.

His Tweet read, “You'll be in our hearts forever!"#WeMissYouSush #1YearOfChhichhore @NGEMovies” with broken heart emoji. Chhichhore marked SSR’s last theatrical release post which his next two ventures, Drive was released on Netflix and Dil Bechara got premiered on Disney+ Hotstar. Meanwhile actress Shraddha Kapoor who played SSR’s onscreen female lead shared the video with the caption, “In loving memory...#1YearOfChhichhore,” followed red heart emoji. The film bagged 5 Filmfare awards in categories such as Best Film, Best Director, Best Story, Best Dialogue and Best Editing.
