Children's Day, November 2018: How Could You Not Show These Films To Your Kid?

There are movies that your child should not see before he has attained a certain age. There are movies that your child must see ASAP. Let's discuss at least 6 such movies on Children's Day, which is today November 14. Please don't get us wrong that we are ought to make your child into a couch potato. Some things we miss should be visited if they are good for the children- if it teaches them something, if it gives them happiness and if it broadens their outlook towards life.

1. Mr India:

Anil Kapoor and Sridevi stole hearts, while the kids provided so much innocence. Amrish Puri as Mogambo added spark.


2. Taare Zameen Par:

brought tears to the eyes. A dyslexic child overcomes all obstacles. Aamir Khan teaches his parents not to differentiate him from others and hence not to discriminate against him.

3. Koi Mil Gaya:

Rakesh Roshan made people go so emotional with this one. Hrithik was fantastic as the special boy who with his friends helps an alien to send him back to his world. 

4. Stanley Ka Dabba:

A 4th grade student is forced to bring tiffin by his Hindi teacher and how he spends his time in school amidst several difficulties.

Shammi Kapoor and his paltan of kids were a treat to watch. And boy, what music!

Uff! what a terrific film. The triangle between Naseeruddin Shah, Shabana Azmi and Anuradha gave goose bumps. And that song- lakde ki kaathi, kaathi pe ghoda!
