Chitrangda Singh’s Ex-Husband Jyoti Randhawa Arrested In Poaching Case
Ace golfer and ex-husband of Chitrangda Singh, Jyoti Randhawa has been arrested for poaching in the Dudhwa Tiger Reserve protected area in Uttar Pradesh. Reports state that a rifle (A-22), a vehicle, wild boar skin, binoculars and other hunting equipments were recovered from Randhawa.

An HT report states that the District Forest Officer of Katerniaghat interrogated Randhawa. Another national-level shooter Mahesh Virajdar was also arrested. “Jyoti Singh Randhawa and Mahesh Virajdar (who accompanied him) have been arrested in a poaching case in Motipur range of Katerniaghat. A vehicle, weapon and other equipment along with wildlife articles have been seized. Interrogation and further legal action are being taken by the DFO (divisional forest officer) Katerniaghat and his team," said Ramesh Pandey, Field Director at Dudhwa Tiger Reserve


Randhawa owns a farm in Motipur in Katerniaghat and since the last three days, he was spotted roaming in the area with his vehicle. Certain animal rights activists had tweeted that Randhawa was spotted with hunting dogs when the search for tigress Avni was on.

For those uninitiated, Chitrangda and Randhawa have a son named Zorawar together. They got divorced in 2014 and the custody of the son is with Chitrangda. Speaking of his golfing career, it was in 1994 that he started playing as a professional golfer. Randhawa took up shooting professionally only recently and even participated in national shooting.
