This Christmas is special for Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and her husband Virat Kohli. Reason? Well, it their first Christmas with their firstborn, Vamika. The Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi actress is currently in South Africa as Virat honours his work commitment. The actress shared on her INSTA Stories, a glimpse of her daughter’s first Christmas celebration. The picture has a kids’ tent filled with colourful balls, placed on a lawn. She penned a message probably thanking Irene Country Lodge members for this lovely step up for their daughter.
The caption on her INSTA Stories, read, “Thank you for making Christmas special.” Just a few days ago, when the actress was seen getting off the bus at the airport, Virat had requested the paps not to click pictures of their toddler. Virat will be playing for the three test matches and ODIs in South Africa. Ever since Vamika was born, Anushka has been a hands-on mommy. The actress though shot for ad commercials, has largely remained away from the camera.

Anushka who titled the knot in 2017, welcomed Vamika in January 2020. Back then sharing the first glimpse of her, Anushka penned an Instagram post, “We have lived together with love, presence, and gratitude as a way of life but this little one, Vamika has taken it to a whole new level! Tears, laughter, worry, bliss - emotions that have been experienced in a span of minutes sometimes! Sleep is elusive but our hearts are SO full.
