Conman Sukesh Chandrashekar Claims He Was In A Relationship With Jacqueline Fernandez; Adds, 'That Was The Reason I Have Gifts To Her'
Conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar has claimed that the reason he gave Jacqueline Fernandez expensive gifts is because he was dating her
Jacqueline Fernandez has been making headlines for controversial reasons. It was reported that she received gifts worth crores from conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar. The gifts reportedly included an Arabian horse, luxurious cars, jewellery and more. However, in the letter which has been released by his lawyer Advocate Anant Malik, Sukesh claims that he was in a relationship with Jacqueline, which is why he gave her gifts worth crores.
"I was in a relationship with Jacqueline and that was the reason I have given gifts to her. Any kind of transaction that took place is about my personal life and none of the amount used in the gifts was part of any proceeds and the court will decide if it was. She has nothing to do with the case," he said, via India Today.
Jacqueline in her statement alleged that she was a victim in the case and earlier denied being in a relationship with Sukesh. In her statement to ED, she also said that Sukesh introduced himself as a media baron from South India with a different name. Sukesh further wrote in the letter to his lawyer, "All my friends in Bollywood are being targeted just to defame me and make me look in a bad light in society, so that I won't be able to do business related to films."
Earlier, photos of Jacqueline and Sukesh went viral on social media. One of the pictures showed Jacqueline kissing conman Sukesh on his cheek. Another picture showed the conman kissing her on her cheeks. The viral photos gave rise to the speculations that she was dating the conman, who is currently imprisoned at the Tihar jail.
In his letter, Sukesh also asked why Shivinder Singh's wife Aditi Singh was not probed if she paid Rs 200 crores as extortion. He further said that a lot is being said and dictated about him adding that it is wrong to say that he is a conman or Thug. He also alleged that he paid crores to senior officials but investigating agencies never probed them.
