The chaos on the sets of Jug Jugg Jeeyo is next level currently! The cast and crew of the film starring Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani and Prajakta Kohli are currently shooting in Chandigarh, amidst the Coronavirus pandemic. Reportedly, Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, and director Raj Mehta had tested positive for COVID-19. Now, according to the latest reports, Anil Kapoor has tested negative for COVID-19. The report stated that the senior actor is headed back home from Chandigarh.
According to a report in the Times of India, Anil Kapoor is not COVID-19 positive. A source shared the information and said, “Anil ka test positive nahin hai." The source mentioned that while too many different reports are doing rounds, Neetu Kapoor and Raj Mehta have contracted the virus. The source said, “Too many different reports doing the rounds but it seems that Neetu Kapoor and Raj Mehta have been infected." As per the report, Anil Kapoor’s brother, producer Boney Kapoor also revealed that the actor has tested negative. He said, “Anil has tested negative." Taking to his Instagram stories, Anil Kapoor also confirmed that he has tested negative for COVID-19 and put the rumours to rest.

Earlier, Filmfare reported that a close source revealed that Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Raj Mehta have tested positive for COVID-19. The source mentioned that the shooting of the movie has been put on hold till the actors are healthy to be back on the set. While Anil Kapoor has tested negative for the virus, reportedly, Kiara Advani is also not COVID-19 positive. Meanwhile, it was only recently that Neetu Kapoor had shared a picture from the sets of Jug Jugg Jeeyo. Taking to her Instagram stories, the actress posted a picture featuring how the crew was working ensuring all precautions. They were all dressed in PPE kits and Neetu Kapoor thanked producer Karan Johar, Dharma Productions, for ensuring everyone’s safety on the sets.
