It was today that the peppy Teri Bhabhi song from Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan starrer Coolie No. 1 made it to our screens. Well, the track opened to a positive response with fans gushing over Varun and Sara's sizzling chemistry and also the former's crazy energy throughout the song. Other than the song's catchy lyrics and tunes, Varun Dhawan's hook step, too, has garnered a lot of attention. However, did you guys know that the actor was having a knee injury when he shot for this number? Well, despite that, Varun has done complete justice to every bit of Teri Bhabhi.

It so happened that Varun Dhawan had injured his knees during the shoot but even the pain and the discomfort did not stop him from acing the signature step, which everyone is loving right now. This despite the fact that the step required Varun to slide down on his knees on a rough patchy floor again and again. He was in great pain but despite choreographer Master Ganesh's warnings, he persisted and completed the song as many pe. All that joy you see on the screen? It did not come easy but then magic never does. The Dhawan lad is truly a rockstar!

Before the launch of Teri Bhabhi, fans were wondering if Varun was referring to his ladylove Natasha Dalal. He was quoted as saying, "I can’t hide this anymore. There are always so many rumours that you can’t always clarify, hence I have decided that tomorrow I will introduce everyone to their ‘bhabhi’." However, it turned out he was actually talking about the song ‘Teri Bhabhi’ from Coolie No. 1.

Coolie No.1, helmed by David Dhawan, also stars Paresh Rawal, Javed Jaffrey and Sahil Vaid in pivotal roles. The film will stream on Amazon Prime on December 25, that is, on Christmas.
