It is heading to the Maharashtra and Gujarat coasts this afternoon and is expected to make landfall at Alibaug, about 100 kilometers away from Mumbai. Maharashtra government has issued various guidelines and precautionary measures for safety, while Bollywood celebrities such as Priyanka Chopra, Akshay Kumar, among others, too are making sure they make people aware of the guidelines by posting them on social media.
