Dance Deewane 3: Mumtaz To Not Appear On The Show After The Channel Refuses To Oblige Her Demand Of A Huge Amount-Report
Dance Deewane 3 makers thought her demand was “too much” and thus, the channel has refused to oblige.
Yesteryear star Mumtaz was supposed to appear on the popular reality show ‘Dance Deewane 3’. While fans and viewers were excited to see the actress on the show, it is now being reported that Mumtaz will no longer be a guest as she demanded a huge amount to make an appearance. As per the latest report in Etimes, the show's broadcasters thought her demand was “too much” and thus, the channel has refused to oblige.
A source was quoted saying, “Mumtaz quoted somewhere in the range of Rs 40-50 lakh. The channel felt it was too much for them, but think of it, it's their loss. Mumtaz is an extremely popular artriste and above all, it would have been the first time that she would have made an appearance on a show on national television.”
Notably, this would have been senior actress Mumtaz's first reality-show appearance in all these years. Had she appeared on 'Dance Deewane 3', it would certainly have been a treat to see Madhuri Dixit and Mumtaz sharing screen space for the first time. Veteran actress Mumtaz recently made headlines for her reunion with Dharmendra. The two have appeared in several films in the past including Loafer and Jheel Ke Us Paar among others. Dharmendra and Mumtaz's reunion photo went viral on social media.
Mumtaz along with her sister had visited Dharmendra's house. The yesteryear actress was welcomed by Dharmendra's first wife and Sunny Deol's mother Prakash Kaur.
