Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra made a thunderous Bollywood debut with Nitesh Tiwari’s Dangal alongside Aamir Khan. The film was one of the biggest blockbusters in India and was also one of the highest-grossing films worldwide. More than the collection, the two ladies Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra who essayed the roles of Geeta Phogat and Babita Phogat gained immense appreciation and won accolades for their roles and their sister-bond in Dangal. However, their bond was not restricted to onscreen but the two share a great bond offscreen as well. So much so that people even started assuming that they are dating each other.
Yes, that’s right. Responding to these rumours, the Thugs Of Hindostan actress told IANS that she simply laughed about it. She was quoted saying, "We simply laughed about it. Just because we are good friends, they assumed the worst." Asked about three things that she learnt from Sanya, Fatima said: "I have learnt a lot from her. For one, Sanya likes to keep everything clean. While she is an introvert and I am an extrovert, I learnt to hold myself back at times. I also learnt a lot from her dedication to work."
She also expressed her desire to work with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan in a film since she is a huge fan of King Khan. Not only this, but she also said that she would love to see him stripping on the streets of Mumbai and that for her a perfect scene of man proposing to his wife atop the Eiffel tower would be of SRK and her. "I would love to see Shah Rukh Khan strip on the streets of Mumbai! I think the perfect scene of a man proposing to his wife atop the Eiffel tower would be of Shah Rukh Khan and me," she added.
