Danish Zehen’s Mother Gets Teary Eyed On Knowing That Varun Dhawan’s Look In Street Dancer 3D Is Inspired By Her Late Son- EXCLUSIVE
It's truly an emotional moment for famous YouTuber (late) Danish Zehen's mother as Varun Dhawan revealed that his look in Street Dancer 3D is inspired by Danish
In 2018, the Ace of Space contestant Danish Zehen met with a road accident and died on the spot. His sudden death came as a shock to everyone. Now, even after a year, his memories are still fresh in people's minds. The famous YouTuber continues to enjoy immense following on social media. And the recent announcement by Varun Dhawan of taking inspiration from his look for his dance flick Street Dancer 3D once again proves how popular he is.
We got in touch with Danish’s mother Yasmin who was speechless on discovering this. When contacted, she said, "Just now, my daughter Tehreen showed me Varun's post and I am extremely happy to see him taking inspiration from my son for his upcoming film. But at the same time, I’m getting emotional as my son is not with me to see this. I don't go to theatres to watch the movie but I am surely going to go for this film.”
When asked if they were informed by the makers before and she states that they hadn't discussed anything with them. “But I don't have any objections. In fact I am grateful to them that a star like Varun Dhawan is going to play this. It's been more than a year that I lost my son but this is making me more proud that he is still alive in people's hearts.”
Varun Dhawan took to his Instagram to announce this as he wrote, “The handsome DANISH was the inspiration for SAHEJ’s look in #streetdancer. Danish is no more and is in a better place but is loved by so many so I thought I should share this so people should know that he even inspired us. @remodsouza sir suggested this look and @aalimhakim bhai executed it superbly. Love and respect #danish
Street Dancer 3D is directed by Remo Dsouza and stars Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles. The movie is releasing on Jan 24.
