Abhishek Bachchan’s much-awaited film ‘Dasvi’ finally released and needless to say, the wait was worth it. In the trailer itself, Abhishek gave a glimpse of his rustic Haryanvi Jatt look whose only wish left in his life is to clear his ‘Dasvi’ and now, after the theatrical release, Jr Bachchan is getting all the love. He has nailed it as an illiterate Haryanvi Jatt CM.
The film revolves around the story of a ‘desi anpadh jatt’ Ganga Ram Chaudhary who throughout his life made money through illegal means. Later his name surfaces in a scam that ends up landing him in jail. During his time in jail, he decides to clear his 10th board exams and vows not to sit on the CM’s throne until he passes his ‘Dasvi’. The film shows Nimrat Kaur as Ganga Ram’s wife who gets an opportunity to taste power and position while being in ‘Satta’. Yami Gautam portrays the role of a strict jailor who gives hard time to Ganga Ram during his stay in jail.

Clearly ‘Dasvi’ has left the fans impressed. Earlier, a dialogue from the film caught everyone’s attention wherein Abhishek said, “Everyone loves Deepika.” Reacting to the same, Deepika had shared the trailer on her IG story and wrote, “Thank you team #Dasvi for the LOVE! Wishing you guys the best!” The movie is directed by debutant Tushar Jalota and bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan.
