SpotboyE.com has learnt that Salman and A R Rahman were all gung-ho about teaming up together for his upcoming Bajrangi Bhaijaan the maiden venture of Salman's production house Being Human. Turns out, the two biggies even had a meeting at a Michelin restaurant early last year. Alas!
The latest on this is that Rahman has politely declined the offer.
The talks got derailed when Bajrangi Bhaijaan's director Kabir Khan put his foot down insisting he will not push the film’s release date which is Eid 2015.
Turns out that was the deal-breaker. Rahman was already busy with Ashutosh Gowarikers Mohenjo Daro and Imtiaz Alis Tamasha apart from a few international albums. And sticking to Kabirs timeline didnt seem possible.
What happens next? Rahmans loss is Pritams gain.
