Days After Wrapping Atrangi Re Shooting With Sara Ali Khan, Akshay Kumar And Dhanush, Director Aanand L Rai Tests POSITIVE For COVID-19; Releases Official Statement
Aanand L Rai, who recently wrapped up Atrangi Re shooting with Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush, informed everyone via social media that he has tested positive for COVID-19
Many celebs are contracting COVID-19. This month celebs like Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Maniesh Paul, director Raj Mehta, Kriti Sanon and Rahul Preet Singh among others tested positive for the deadly virus while shooting for their upcoming films. It was recently Rakul shared the good news and told her fans and followers that she’s COVID free now. But the latest celeb from industry to test positive is filmmaker Aanand L Rai. The Zero director, who recently wrapped up Atrangi Re shooting with Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush informed everyone via social media.
Taking to Insta story, Aanand L Rai revealed that he’s asymptomatic and has quarantined himself as per given instruction by their authorities. He further asked people, who has come in contact with him, to get themselves tested and follow government protocols. Rai wrote in Insta post, “I have tested positive today. Just wanted to inform everyone that I don't feel any symptoms and I feel fine. I'm quarantining as instructed by authorities. Anyone who has come in contact with me recently is advised to quarantine and follow the government protocols. Thank you for your support and blessings (sic).”
On Christmas, Sara Ali Khan had shared a picture with Atrangi Re co-star Dhanush and director Anand L Rai while wearing Santa cap. Sara had written, “It’s a warm and fuzzy Christmas @aanandlrai @dhanushkraja.”
Just a couple of days back, Anand L Rai’s picture, from the wrap-up celebration, with entire cast and crew had gone viral. In the snap, we had seen Sara, Dhanush cutting the cake with Rai standing in between them. We pray Anand L Rai’s speedy recovery.
