It’s been 25 years since late filmmaker Yash Chopra’s Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge was released in 1995. One can say the love that it garners even now explains the importance of this movie in the audience's hearts. Hence, as the film marks its 25th anniversary, filmmaker Karan Johar who played a small role in the film, has penned a note on his Instagram account, along with some movie stills featuring him.  Also he shared a short video clip which has the best scenes from the movie. 

KJo in his Instagram caption shared DDLJ being an extremely special film for him, also terming it as the training ground for him in the world of cinema. Being overwhelmed to be part of this most loved film for years now, he thanked Aditya Chopra. Also he shared some movie stills where he was seen sharing screen space with late actor Amrish Puri and his best buddy Shah Rukh Khan. KJo too shared the movie poster with the mention of 25 years over it. 

Karan’s Instagram caption read, “DDLJ is so so special to me and will always be....it was my training ground ....I have indelible memories of our times on set....the film has achieved the status of being a legendary love story and I am so proud that I was a tiny part of this beautiful film! Thank you Adi for all my learning’s and all the memories ...#DDLJ25 @yrf”

Along with him, son of late Yash Chopra, Uday Chopra too took us back in time. Uday shared a throwback of his probably from the sets on his Twitter account with the caption which read, “A picture of me from the sets of DDLJ. It’s been 25 years!!! Was a truly special and fun experience.
