Deepika: I Wish I Was A Part Of Dil Dhadakne Do
Known for choosing good scripts, Deepika is lamenting that she missed out on being a part of her friend Zoya Akhtar's awaited multi-starrer Dil Dhadakne Do. The Happy New Year actress had read its script before Zoya put it on floors.
 
Confirming this, Deepika said at the Piku success bash last night:  "Zoya had given me the Dil Dhadakne Do script to read. It's a fantastic story. I wish I was a part of it."
 
Which role would she have liked to play- Priyanka Chopra's or Anushka Sharma's?  "I think it would be very unfair to say which part I would have preferred. Every character contributes equally to a film, it's never really the size of the role but how special you make it."
 
Added Deepika, "It's a fantastic script. I hope the film has shaped up as well as the script had. I am looking forward to seeing it."

Dil Dhadakne Do stars Anil Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma and Rahul Bose.

Just one question, Deepika: Why didn't you just pick up your phone to tell Zoya about your wish when the script was lying with you?
