Deepika: I’m not engaged, I’m not getting married anytime soon
The Bajirao Mastani actress puts an end to all rumours about her wedding with Ranveer Singh
Over the last one week, rumours have been flying thick and fast that B-town’s sweethearts – Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone – have already got engaged and will be tying the knot next year.
Both Ranveer and Deepika stayed tight-lipped about the subject so far.
At the opening of India Couture Week 2016 in Delhi yesterday, the actress finally broke her silence. Laughing about the rumours, Deepika said, “I am not pregnant, I am not engaged and I am not getting married anytime soon.”
Now, this should put an end to all the rumours.
The actress was even asked about her blink-and-miss appearance in the recently released trailer of xXx: Return Of Xander Cage. Deepika, who makes her Hollywood debut with this film, said, “There is more than 6 months to go. Be patient, just wait and watch. Every few days, we will be putting up a new campaign. It is also the return of the film after many years, return of Xander Cage (Diesel), and that is what it is. But slowly and slowly, more will be unveiled.”
